I had a VERY positive experience with Brian(?) on the phone a few months ago. He gave me a heads up on the SIG situation in Canada and encouraged me to jump into the IPSC boat.
 
hello no it is not the same. Murray did own MDcharlton years ago but not now. Murray Charlton Has an awesome shop/gunsmithing in Victoria by M.D. charlton on Keating. M.D.Charlton in Victoria Has wonderful staff and a big retail area. Blair, who is a straight shooter, is the person I deal with. But all are just as good.

Thanks for the question. Often the free advice given on the interwebs is worth far less than you pay for it...

We have two demo 716's that have seen several hundred rounds each, with no carrier tilt issues. If the gas system is incorrectly operated, premature wear may occur; this is an owner issue, not a firearm issue.

Good Morning,

If I understand correctly MDC is now the distributor of Swiss Arms in Canada. I was wondering if the classic green is currently being imported and available for order by dealers. There was some initial availability once MDC took over distribution, but this has dried up it appears.

Good morning MD,

You are correct; we are the Swiss Arms Canadian Distributor. Shortly after our first shipment of rifles, the RCMP began reclassification discussions. As a result, no further rifles have been imported.

Hi Murray,

I sent my M&P 15-22 to you earlier this year (from Toronto), after some crappy Winchester Super X suffered a case failure and blew the extractor out of the bolt. I wanted to thank you for making sure it was in proper condition before I took it back to the range. I know you're busy and I was writing some long emails to you about plans for this rifle (lol), but anyway I appreciate your time regardless.

Distributors often face the tough choice as to whether to have retail services. Often they'll do it but set prices at MSRP so that customers can find a better price at a true retailer. Often they won't bother because retailers just do retail better and dealing with customer service and returns, billing, complaints just isn't worth it.

Just had my first bit of dealings with you guys. Tim there was amazing and did such a great job of helping out when one of my local retailers wouldn't help at all, then contacting someone else in the valley that was reccomended, placed an email, and you guys got it all dealt with ASAP.

Wish I could just walk in the store and buy guns.. so much closer than other stores haha. Either way great dealings with these guys!
