Well I was bored and hadn't seen mine in a while so I went and took it down and if I understand your question
There is two springs and they are on rods attached at the back with a pin . I can see the bottom one only but they both wobble
The springs are on and I didn't take them off so don't know if they will spin or not but their not welded and I'm assuming the top one is pinned but can't see it
And mines a 7.62x39
