would make a great master prototype to create molds..... then make it in carbon fiber composite
I imagine the aluminum chassis adds a fair amount of weight?

from my seat it looks great , well thought out and some really cool details, well done canadapanda.

(word to the uninformed..... the last guys you should share your idea with is m14 dot ca..... I know from experience)

Very nice work CanadaPanda. Can you explain you build process in more detail? Did you start with one big chunk of aluminum and CNC'ed it down then cerakote it? Must have took a long time to machine. Really cool!

The handguard is a separate piece. You cannot make them in one piece, and even if you could you would not be able to get the rifle into the stock. You can use any aftermarket mini 14 hand guards with this stock. If by ACR hand guard, you mean an octogon AR15 style hand guard, it is not possible due to the way the rifle is taken down, because of the barrel profile, and because of the gas system and charging handle design.

The ACR handguard is a lower part that clamshells in. If it can be adapted, it would save manufacturing and provide some variety. Look up some work by Sureshot Arms (SAG) - they adapted it to the AKs. It _might_ work for the mini too.

But if you are still using a separate mini style upper handguard and just made your own with mlok, that's all moot.

Mind showing how things come apart?

It would be a niche market, I can't see selling a lot. Then again, guys put $800 stocks on $100 SKS rifles all the time, so what do I know.

Can always count on Armedsask to chime in and sh!t on other peoples product ideas just because his failed...

You are very skilled Panda, great work, should get into the stock making industry !

Can't say I am much of a fan for this type of "look".
However, I can appreciate the artistry and skill that went into producing such a beautifully executed project.

Kudos to you sir on a job well done.
