If you have a chance to handle it and inspect it and it looks good, they are good guns in general and easy to work on.
I've seen some with poorly indexed barrels, and usually there are some sharp edges here and there that could use some de-horning..... I'd go for it if your in the market and it checks out visually.
Some times the ejecter springs are a bit on the stiff side but they can be replaced, the bolt safety ( if it has one) can be deleted as well.
Lot's of info out there for people wanting to work on them at home. I'm not sure if Steve's guns still exports his parts but parts are out there.... might need to use an import service.
Rossi service is done through Location Snapshot and they don't seem to be able to get basic parts for some reason.
