Know any welders that are willing to help you out?
Are you any kind of a handyman?
If all you need is some clearance, often it can be as simple as grinding out a notch to clear the mount or scope bell.
If you wish, there are jigs available to put the stripped down bolt in to, and you heat the area of the handle with a torch, and beat it over with a hammer.
Or you can cut the handle with a zip disk on an angle grinder, jig it into the form you wish, and have it welded.
I have seen, done, or helped, with all of the above at one time or other.
Search around online for bolt bending jig, bolt forging jig, or bolt welding jigs, and you can get some pretty good ideas what is involved.
Lots of this stuff is sorta only really a viable option if you either do not mind never getting your money out of it, or are willing to do a lot of the work yourself.
