Norma made the factory ammo, and I think sold the brass also, in the 1960s. It was distributed in Canada.

Though it's impossible to find out on the web site, RWS may still be producing cartridges in 6.5X54. When you get some, it may be cost-effective to fire a case, and send it of to RCBS to have a custom die made. Most 6.5X54's have an oversized chamber for some reason, and brass doesn't last very long in them.

A careful look at the tables of a gunshow can bring you some brand new 160 grainers from Dominion, and for very little money. I bought a couple of boxes in the past.

Epp's is OWS' Canadian distributor. Any Dominion brass or ammo is 40 plus years old. the brass will be ok, but ammo may not be.

Next time I see one of my buddy's I will ask him.He had a few boxes (6.5x54) that he offered to me a while back but i had no use for them.DAN>>>
