Hey that's a great finish.....

.....if Norinco started cloning P210's.

All signs point to a refinish, and a poor one at that. Still doesn't make it any less of a shooter, just should have been priced accordingly.

100% refinish, glad you got your money back. Weimajack will never see my business after this go around.

Just a heads up that this pistol seems to be listed again, EE link attached to this sentence.

I wouldn't be posting this should the pistol not be listed as the following;

weimajack from EE listing linked above said:
This Swiss military pistol is in about new condition, so new, it's no silver line worn through the finish normally made by safety lever plunger between "S" and "F" letters. On both side of the frame, it's very light machine marks from the factory (so thin, you can't fell them with your finger), these marks are very unusual for a pistol of this quality (priced accordingly).

As you can see by the "P" that has been nearly buffed out of the trigger guard it's been refinished at some time. Also as Calgary shooting center said in this thread "I'd say refinished too. The scratch from the safety is on all of the original P210s and it is always a silver line worn through the finish. If it is blue or phosphated then the gun was refinished at some time.", that safety is scratched under the finish and is now blued of phosphated over the scratch. Just thought a potential buyer would like to know what they might be looking at. If this were described more accurately, with even the words "possible refinish", I wouldn't be pointing this out at all. Hope a potential buyer deals and purchases accordingly.

Hope that helps.
