Appears to be a Browning Patent clone. Savage and Remington both made similar shotguns. Wood appears to have been sanded at some point as it is lower than the tang. Cracks are minor, but do detract from the value quite a bit.
My opinion, and that's all it is, would be around $250 tops.
 
That is the alloy frame Savage. Termed the light weight as compared to steel framed Savage autos. All built on the famous Browning long recoil system. Some of the alloy frames developed cracks with abuse and heavy loads fired with recoil system not set properly. Too bad about the sanded wood and fore end crack. You are looking at about 200.00 in parts (wood mostly, front bead) to make it right. Still with better wood and the choke opened to IMP CYL (depending on what it is now) it would make a nice grouse gun. Having said all that GR100 is on the money with his estimate. A savy buyer would offer much less taking the work it needs into account.
