good group.

i have seen result like this just once before from a shooter from northern BC or alberta , i cant recall who .

That is great for an SKS.
Best grouping I've done, is to have all five casings land in a three foot circle with only one flyer.
:p

Good to see what can be done with one of these!

These guys saying sks's are really inaccurate need to f off! Im hitting the gong at 300m with my norinco sks. Have faith in these little carbines its usually a matter of front sight adjustment and the users horrid aim.

Oh but I am.
These things will match if not outshoot my abilities any day of the week.
Then again when it comes to accuracy, I sit down to pee too.

I'm not bashing for the record, I love my SKS's, they're the only semi-auto rifles i own, i haven't shot paper @ 100m from a bench yet, but it does well, i'm just wondering if it's worth mounting a scope for 200-250m. I want to take it hunting, but i don't want to #### up a clean shot, you know? i know people hunt with them, but i'm still worried, due to the nay sayers...lol, again not bashing, but how big is that gong? and are you hitting it 5 for 5?

Last weekend was at a friend's place shooting the SKS at the 1,000 yard bbq tank we have set up. I was getting 3-4 feet from it according to my spotter once I got it dialed in and figured out where to aim. No I could not even see the target but knew where it was by the fence line and the way the field lay. I had the sights cranked up to about the proper range and was getting close. I was surprised.

I was able to ring the 300 yard plate with ease. It is 14x16 inches or thereabouts. It is plenty acurate from a practical standpoint.
