I'm trying to load .17 and just can't get the powder ( Varget ) to drop into the brass properly, it builds
up and won't flow. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know of a better powder that can be used
in this caliber? I'll take any help I can get.

Are you dropping directly from your powder measure? If so try using a longer drop tube and slowly meter the powder. You shouldn't be having any problems if you use the right technique. Just drop the powder into your case more slowly. If you're using a funnel, pour the powder slowly onto the side of the funnel, letting the powder swirl down and into the case. Good luck.
 
You can also help stop the static cling a bit by wiping the funnel down with a dryer sheet. If the powder is sticking on the sides, anyways.
