There are 22cal Pistols and Rifles going hungry in this country, As you read this some magazine is emptying its last round with no idea of where it will get is next! Some desperate rabbit hunter is destroying good meat with bird shoot. We Must Pull Together And Put An End To The Hunger. I have a good stock pile of 22lr And I Pledge To Not Buy Another Brick Of Ammo Until I Use A Brick Of Ammo. Otherwise I am just Hoarding and taking the ammo right out of the chambers of the needy. Please take the Pledge and encourage your friends and family to take it also.

And don't forget your local food bank it has been a long winter.

I need it just as much as the next guy. Do I clean out the store of stock? No but I will buy what I want. It isn't my fault people were buying ammo 50 round box at a time or brick at a time.
Was talking to some old guys yesterday (around 60+) looking for 22 mag ammo because they only have 2 cases left from when they bought many many years ago.

Horse pucky! Sub gauge scatterguns will keep your rabbit harvest much higher in the dense forest. It only takes one golden pellet to a vital spot to do the dirty deed. I will also put forth that a shotgun user will often do this with only one single pull of the trigger versus many users of 22 repeating rifles. Screens of close range foliage are rarely a deal breaker either to the shotgun that would easily deflect a single rimfire bullet.

22 rimfire hollow points are much more destructive on these little forest critters.

Edit: Hunters that run beagles are more often comfortable with shotguns and birdshot versus someone with 22 semi and a large magazine.

I just received 9 cases of ammo, I'll sit on the sidelines for a bit and leave the rest for the needy and less fortunate.
It amazes me how many people will spend almost a grand building up a 10-22 and then shudder at the thought of dropping 200 bucks on a full case of ammo so they can shoot for a while with no worries, buy for tomorrow and live for today people

i'm selective. if i see cci sv or sk+ at a decent price i will buy what i can. i won't be running out any time soon. i leave all the bulk packs to other people.

The only stuff I've seen recently is the win 333/555 which I won't bother to purchase. I've got a couple of bricks of it but don't like it. I still got maybe 1500-2000 rounds of cci mini mags and standard velocity, a brick of dynapoints, 2 bricks of federal auto match, a brick of lapua club and maybe 8-10 50 round boxes of various fodder. Not a lot, but I haven't been shooting much lately so I'm good for a while. If I do see any cci or federal bulk on the shelves, I will buy a couple of bricks.
