I've used the Tactical Advantage, but IMHO, it's better for "carbon fouling" only. It works fine with copper but gets the carbon fouling out faster than Wipe Out, but doesn't get the barrel any cleaner than Wipe Out.
If you need to get the job done a bit faster and you don't want to leave any "carbon fouling behind" and you're not worried about a bit of copper fouling, "tactical advantage" works just fine. It's for fast jobs and It's aptly named for use in tactical type, semi autos, during matches.
I really like Wipe Out, both the foaming and the liquid Patch Out for most of my cleaning efforts.
However, I picked up a couple of liters of 1st Choice to give it a try and because a LGS, owner was closing down and just wanted to clear it out. I had done him a few favors and he wanted to return the effort with the 1st Choice.
I took some of the 1st Choice and mixed it 50/50 with Wipe Out Patch Out liquid.
They're very similar products but 1st Choice is closer to Tactical Advantage and works better on carbon fouling than copper. I was hoping to be able to speed things up a bit more by combining the two. It works.
Combining 1st Choice and Wipe Out/Patch Out gets rid of carbon very quickly and maybe even enhances the copper fouling removal better.
It's not a great advantage, if you're only cleaning one firearm, but if you're cleaning several, at the range or after a range trip, it's a very useful mix and cuts the drudgery of cleaning bores time down significantly.
