Interesting... I bought a bunch of reloaded .45acp at his shop and didn't have any issues with it. But when you're there in person with money, you walk out with your product in hand.

I've shipped and received guns in trash bags before too. Keeps the oil off my hands and off the packing material when boxing it up. Unfortunate to hear people got screwed by him, he seemed like a decent guy and knowledgeable on his product when I was at his shop.
 
Wolverine has some excellent deals right now on Russian & Chinese surplus. New Chinese SKS plus a crate of surplus for $299. Just got one today, its a new unissued rifle, probably as nice as a Chinese can get.

His trash bags were not inside boxes. They were the box.

And if you are ordering ammo anyway,,,,and can get an sks for $75 more,your not gonna leave it there. For another $75. your gonna take one home! And then you will need more ammo for that one, so you order more ammo and there is anothe sks there for $$$75. measley bucks so your not gonna leave it there. ETC... !;0)

I got the "deal" for a chinese sks and box of ammo from moreguns. What your original invoice online says, and what your visa gets charged will be 2 different prices.... and they dont give a damn.
 
Here's some pics of the rifle if anyone is interested, came with oil bottle and 1 stripper clip. Note madatory inclusion of foot in photos. Also, ammo is in original sealed 1120 rd crate, NOT repackaged!

Does anyone know where I can get the REAL wood furniture for my 858? Im trying to dress it up as an AK. Ive seen pictures with the chip board furniture removed and real wood on, looks much better, I think. Thanks.

All numbers match, but the Chinese dude at factory 625 wasn't as good at electropenciling as the Russians.

Also of note, the sticky at SKS boards did NOT have this factory code listed.

Party foul! Socks with sandals! Sheesh.jk How do you like the stock? When I got mine, it felt like the shellac/varnish was kind of peeling and rough as if it was stored in a humid environment. A little bit of time with some 0000 steel wool fixed her up nicely.
 
Yeah I looked at Howie's list on SKS boards and saw the similar code. Apparently that one is real too.

Joel, I was wondering if the stock doesn't just have an oiled finish? Anyhow, it does have some really poor grain right under the serial number, I'll have to do something about it so I'll look for some fine steel wool.
