Pls Move How much weight does milling XCR-L rails save?

I am debating getting the two side rails and a chunk of the bottom rail milled off of my xcr-l.

Has anyone here done this to their rifle? How much weight did it save? Any regrets?

Virtually none, even on a pistol or revolver. How much weight do you want off a 7.5 pound big kid's toy?

You won't save much weight.
Most of the weight is from the barrel. Get a light barrel instead of heavy barrel.
