So I bought my first "rifle" yesterday, and I'm Just wondering where I can find parts, everywhere I look is just the ar version. Wondering if I can switch stocks or chassis since this one is a little short for me. It has a ar birdcage, a "25 round mag" which 20 feels like the springs will break and I bought the $40 scope since it has no irons.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Jay.
I think you've got the 702 (Plinkster) there, with the 25 Round optional mag.

That's actually GOOD news. Not many of us with any love for the 715's and their now 'prohib' magazines.
If you search for 702 parts, you'll probably find a bunch of stuff, since the 715 is basically a Plinkster with a bunch of useless, sharp-edged, ill-fitting plastic wrapped around it. (Just my opinion, of course.)
Enjoy!

Thank you hoakster! Yeah I bought it from home hardware for 190 after tax, the magazine is prohibited???? I'll check out the 702 hopefully they are compatible

Don't panic, Jay. It's a murky issue. You could spend a bunch of time reading about the ins and outs of the RCMP magazine nonsense for the 715, 10/22, Beowulf,...etc.
If the magazine doesn't have any '715T' markings on it, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

If it does have a 715 stamp, then its "Dealer's Choice" for you. If you pin it to 10, you're good to go, but you're getting a lot less mag then you paid for.
If you don't put in the NMRP (No Murderous Rampage Pin) and the wrong clown notices it, your life could get much more interesting in an unwelcome way.

Well, I'm confused now.
The 'T' stands for Tactical and that looks top to bottom like a Plinkster.
Anybody with more savvy on the 715's want to chime in for this fella? After I ditched my own, I lost track of any changes Mossberg may have made to the model.

If for what ever reason you decide to go with a 715T (the AR look-a-like version), get the 10 round mag that doesn't have the cosmetic addition of that big lump of plastic to make it look like a "real AR mag". It causes a lot of wobble in the mag well, which causes FTF/FTE issues. Since I went with the small 10 round mag, I've put about 2000 rounds of various decent and very cheap brick ammo without a single issue. It fits tightly in the mag well and doesn't move.

Just sticking with this .22, came with the "ar 25 rd mag", already went through 200~ Rounds so far and no issues, fits snug for now but I'll keep an eye on the wobble

Thanks
