I have a Chiappa Alaskan '92 with a 12 inch barrel . This ammo shoots 5 shot 4 inch groups at 100 yards from a bench and clocks deer dead at 92 long paces . I think with a longer sight radius and a smaller front sight this ammo would shoot 2.500"-3.00" at 100 . Should be no problem clocking a black bear with it as i've shot 'em with .357s but not yet with the .44 mag .

I had a 96/44 and leverevolution was the only ammo that gave me grief on feeding. I think it was the crimping near plastic tip that did it. Wasn't hunting with it so I just switched ammo.

My 788 in 44 mag shoots better groups using Federal Fusion ammunition at 100 yards (vs any of the Hornady ammo in 44 mag). No hunting results...yet.

Works very well in my Ruger 77/44. 3 shot, 2" groups at 100 yards. I have used it to shoot one coyote. Worked very well.
