I have vortex 1.5” extra high on mine. With a nightforce 5.5-22x56 it just barely clears. Around an 1/8” clearance.

Something I do is have several ring heights in my gun tool box. I have Vortex rings in Low, Medium, High, and extra high for example.

It's not such a big deal for an AR platform and you know you will need fairly high rings for the AR. But on rifles I may be sitting on prone for 10 minutes or more it's nice to have various heights to play with to find the perfect one for you that can be used. It's pretty hard to crank your neck with inappropriate mounting height for your particular body.

I will throw a set on and aim the gun for 10 minutes straight and find the one that is most comfortable for me.

I have ARMS #22H and a #38EXT sleeve for mine. Gives about the same height as extra tall rings and lets me bridge the gap over the barrel nut.

Not on a STAG 10 mind you, but application is similar.

Yeah that would be great. I am trying to decide on the 1.5" and the 1.375" high ring.

I have a spare set of ATRS 1.5's here that im not using if interested send me a PM. the 1.5's give you the proper cheek weld on the AR platform.

Cheers
