It's a sad statement on both your parts, I guess you'd consider me and my wife lazy baby boomers because we never served in Afghanistan. But we're are both CAF vet's including a tour to the middle east. Just because fate made us too old to serve in Afghanistan it somehow makes our service unworthy?. I have nothing but the highest respect for those that served in Afghanistan including my best friend that did two in Bosnia, and all other service member's that came before. Try and remember age groups do NOT define merit or your worth in this life. I've found laziness doesn't respect age groups gender or race. I was going to tell this young lad that posted on here that if he didn't mind helping a disabled CF vet to help with some yard work around the house that I may have a spot for him but maybe he's been scared off. Next time THINK before you hit the send button on the keyboard please, that goes for everyone on here.

1979 is not a millenial. Take a look at the average age of CAF pers and tell me again about Lazy gen Xers.

There's some debate about that. The cut off between Gen X and Millenials is a bit fuzzy. I was born in 1978 and don't really identify with either. There seems to be this micro generation born between say 77 and 83 that kind of had a foot in either generation. Like, I grew up without internet or cell phones, but they arrived in force just at the end of high school for me. Certainly a much different experience than either the Gen Xers or the later millenials that knew nothing but the internet and smart phones from their youth.

No disrespect to the exceptions... I am thinking of the latter 90's early 2000's versions that they have been hiring around here lately... when us old farts started we were thankful for a job.
