First, as a lurker since 2011, you should know you are not in the right section. Apply to the Equipment Exchange. I fail to see how Main Battle Rifles came to mind in any case. Such military surplus talk should be in the Milsurp forum
Second, I fail to see how this could be worth $300, seeing as 'new' rifles in military configuration sell for $199.
EDIT: Third, your rifle is most likely in 8x56R, don't try putting 8mm mauser in there.
