I'm pretty sure that's because there are none in production.

To be honest, that is an awfully strange request. By putting a pistol grip stock on an Enfield, you would pretty much eliminate/reduce most of the advantages of the rifle, such as the lightning fast action. If he wants something tactical but cheap, there's always the SKS. Just keep the wooden stock on hand if you go with that option.

Yep, strange request. My bet is its the only rifle he's got and he wants to 'fancy it up' with one of those gadgets...

I bet an SKS would be as pricey as the replacement stock, and serve as an easy-to-modify substitute for the proposed blasphemy. And cheaper to shoot...

Boys will be boys. :D

It's certainly doable but the end result is nothing short of ugly.

CAR-15 Enfield stock adaptors are available from a couple of places that I know of. They are expensive, $200-$250 depending on who you get it from. These are the butt stock adaptors only. You'd have to supply the fore end and the AR butt stock at additional cost. Total it all up and it could run you $350-$400 plus shipping and you would end up with something like this.

The guy that built this also did a 45 ACP conversion on it at the same time. He makes and sells the AR stock adaptor but the website says he is out of stock.

The other site that sells them is Survival Arms in Australia. They go for $250.00

You can get an ATI polymer stock set for about $80.00. You can save the Monte Carlo butt stock in case the AR stock loses its appeal. :)

Geez, that's be worth at least $1,500 on the EE, if not more ....

1. Good.

2. He should sell it and get one of those AR-15 look-alikes in .22LR from Mossberg or Ruger.
