They come up on the EE on here fairly often. Good, solid shotgun, but not anything approaching elegant. Try to find one to shoulder before you make the decision.
 
well. it's seem that no body sell them new.. maybe it is because of the embargo against Russian products applied by Canada ??

anyway, i will use it for small game and maybe shooting clays
 
If you don't mind fixed chokes and double triggers (most) contributing dealer Trade Ex has some that are darn near new in condition. The Soviet built guns are much better than the new Russia built ones. Both are work horses but the USSR built guns have more care and attention to fitting and detail. Right now there are some nice ones at Trade Ex for about half what a new in box model would cost. If you consider this option I would recommend the double trigger/extractor models. Baikal models with single triggers and ejectors can have issues at times.

Yeah, the Russian arms embargo has stopped to importation of these into Canada. You'll occasionally find NOS guns in out of the way gunshops, but that's it for new guns. Put an ad on the EE and see what comes up?
