PMAG prices on the EE

I LMAO'd when I saw that add... if someone pays an ounce which is at minimum $1645ish for something they could buy for $1500 cash, they're doing EVERYTHING wrong, not the least of which would be shelling out for being totally baited.

A guy just posted 4 new Pmags for $50 each. What a douchebag.
Why does a open and free market place scare you so much that you resort to name calling and disparaging remarks? If you can't afford pmags right now just wait a year or two, supply will eventually return to "normal" levels and the price will likely return to pre-hoarding prices and you will once again be able to afford a pmag or two. Then again, maybe BamBam & Biden will successfully bring in an AWB and pmags and the like will be impossible to find for the foreseeable future.

Oh by the way, I was the douchebag who posted 4 brand new pmags for $50 in the time frame you were referencing. And you are right, I do feel like a douchebag for selling them so cheap, they were gone in minutes....

Not to worry. I'm sure someone else will claim the title soon enough... Addendum: See? Someone's already listed a single one for $155... ;)

Alright. I figure the demand is there.

New price per PMAG is now 500. 750 for a windowed version, and an extra 50$ if it comes with the magpul.

After that settles in, we will move to 1000$. I'm going to get some clay out and see if I can model up a few knock offs to sell on the EE... Z-Mags. Super light, extra tactical, reduces your drag 30% more than anything from Magpul. Tested to survive re-entry from geostationary orbit and impact without affecting function in any way.

Tastefully riveted at 5 rounds, after 8 or 9 other test holes were drilled in the wrong places and then bondo'd over. Doesn't affect function. Drops free with authority, and a little chime sounds when it is feeding the last round. 10,000$ a piece, buyer pays shipping and handling.

So I am a bigger douchebag for selling them at $30 each then......dam me....

$10,000... that's just crazy talk. For now. ;)

I sold two Lancer L5's for $25/each. And another guy sold 20 PMAGs for $320 ($16/each), so I guess we know who gets the award for biggest douchebag. ;)

On a related topic, we used to have a Tassimo coffee machine (stay with me on this one...)

My favorite coffee was the Starbucks Verona bold blend. Well, a couple years ago the relationship between Tassimo and Starbucks dissolved and my favorite coffee was no longer available. Tassimo still had Nabob, but I hated it and was addicted to the Verona blend. I was a bit panicked when I heard the news and bought up every pack of the Verona T-discs I found (which wasn't many, because all the local stores soon sold out). I even had family and friends buying the last pack or two in their town for me if they saw any on the shelf, but soon all my contacts were reporting bare shelves. I was pretty upset so I started searching around the globe for Starbucks Verona T-discs and found that a pack of 12 was already selling for over $50 on e-bay (regular retail was about $7, if I recall). Within a couple weeks they were selling for $100 which seemed completely ridiculous because that works out to about $10 a cup and you could still get the stuff brewed at your local Starbucks for about $3 a cup. I started sipping my precious Verona each morning, looking at my dwindling stock on the shelf and feeling like is was TEOTWAWKI. I loved my coffee too much to part with it, although I was damn tempted to put the last bit of my stock on e-bay for $100 a pack. But, I couldn't be bothered and thought I've already bought and paid for it and I'm still using it. Even though I was not willing to pay the inflated pricing, I was still not willing to part with something so irreplaceable.

Then, not too long after that, my wife found out that Starbucks signed a deal with Keureg. We gave our Tassimo machine to our neighbour, bought a Keureg and now I get all the Verona coffee I want at Costco for about 0.50/cup.

Eerily similar.. or is it? We don't yet know how the PMag story will end...:
