PMAG's from $29.99

So why not 35$...

I mean people are buying these up like hotcakes no matter what... it's the availability that drives the product to sale.

While 5 bux each isnt much... when selling a thousand or so... its still 5 grand.

It all comes down to either having a Magwell 'built' to take pinned mags making it easier... or some sort of a contraption that can spit out a mag every 30-60 seconds.

I understand its about "profit" but when people are buying 5-10 mags... and are paying as much as some 'receivers' do...we need an alternative. Either Canadian made mags already made for 5 rounders (and not costing 40$ each) or a converted mag that is either 'lower grade'/cheaper or higher grade but not costing an arm and a leg.

I dont see this as "questar" profiteering... but more of a "something wrong with our system"

I told a buddy 2 weeks ago.

"It's not the government outlawing guns... they are just making it 'yet another rich mans sport' so nobody can afford it and eventually it'll go away"

I think Pmags are a really great example... going from a 16$ mag to nearly 3 times the price all in 'taxes' of some sort. Sure it is a great product and all... but it's just being kept in the "being able to afford" crowds hands.

And yes "shooting aint cheap"... but "WHY" isn't it.

I know I would load up on allot more if they were cheaper. I guess it boils down to, sell a few at higher costs or sell allot more at a better price. I would buy allot at a better price, at the current going rate I am reluctant to buy more than two..

Right now I estimate they will be in stock by mid November and hope to make them available for advance order on our website within a week or so.

There will be various colours available... Black, Foliage, OD and hopefully FDE as well.

Pricing is not yet final but will be announced on our website in about 1 week, when they become available for order placement.

What I don't understand is why you don't just get somebody like the magic shoemaker elves to do all the labour of pinning and import/export for free, so that you can sell us the mags for $15.

Is it just because you hate Canadian shooters?

In the future, please try to think outside the box more and have all of your work done for free and sell us stuff at a slight loss to help the sport grow. That is the only respectable thing to do.

Actually forget doing to help the sport grow...just do it so internet morons will have access to stuff that makes gun brain go good for small money.

I'm expecting to win the 6/49 soon and once I do I was thinking of selling all our products at US pricing and just eating all the currency, import, handling and operating costs... sort of as my gesture to all Canadian shooters (the nice ones and the not so nice ones :)).

My way of "giving back" ;)

Now... where did I put that ticket?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here Mark, winning the lottery is the easy part. The hard part is getting the OLG to pay you out.
 
We've updated the website and customers can now place pre-orders for the PMAG's we have coming in...

For those that want the cheapest price we are offering the magazines in the most basic form possible, with the pop-rivet inserted (as required to allow importation and possession). It will then be up to the customer to file down the rivet so that they fit the AR's magwell and "finish" it in whatever method they choose. You do the work and you save money... $34.99 each or 5 @ $29.99 each

For those that want the professional finish that we normally apply to these magazines you can select our Questar finish option... we file down the rivet and then bond it to the magazine with epoxy, then sand down the epoxy and test fit to our test gun... then finish paint and final re-test. For this we charge $5.00 more... $39.99 for single magazines or 5 @ $34.99 each

Choice is yours... colour options are Black (BLK), Flat Dark Earth (FDE), Foliage Green (FOL) and Olive Drab (OD). We will have lots of black but the other colours may be short supply so get your orders in early :)

The pictures of our finished product is already posted on our website and earlier in this thread...

I think most people out there know what a pop rivet looks like, so don't think we need pictures of that... it's just a pop rivet installed in the magazine and left as is... it will be silver coloured and it will stick up from the side of the magazine body... usually sticks up enough to make fit to your AR magwell an issue so normally they need to be filed down in order to get them to fit properly and drop free.

Besides, I don't have any here to take pictures of so I couldn't do it anyway :)
