PMAGS, Just to piss everyone off...

Got a few friends going on TF1-10 and they are interested in getting these for their deployment however the only ones they could find are pinned to 5... all of them are going to KAF would the US PX there sell these mags? or can they pick some up when they go to the states later this month for confirmation training?

What is worng with their CF issued kit? I'd rather have metal than plastic mags doing what they are doing (personal preference). I see it's all about being cool:rolleyes: If the PX is selling them........I have never seen AR stuff for sale in a PX it would still be illegal for Canadians to purchase/export them. And it would be illegal to import them into Canada as well. This is all pretty logical....You cannot own a 30 round pmag in Canada unles it is issued by the Government.

Several Canadian troops on my ROTO ordered Pmags from US vendors while posted in theatre. No problems with delivery through the US APO's.

From what I recall, the KAF PX did not sell Pmags. You could grab a lot of gear but the mags were not in the lot.

I don't know if he ever posted them here, but you should see some of the pictures of KevinB's PMAG testing, along with some of the other vids floating around. If I could have a 30-rd PMAG over there instead of our POS mags, I would definitely take em

Some PX's in the states actually do sell PMAGs, but they're almost always out of stock. Not all of them do, and I've never seen one at the PX in KAF whenever I went there.

As far as going through the APO, I know some people have done it.

The chicks in Dand District will lift the burkha for any CIMIC operator with FDE PMAGS.

Pfft, that wasn't the mags, that was to get free Sh*t

I bought PMags at the KAF PX. You just need to catch them at the right time. I also had a buddy try to mail me Pmags to the APO we have in KAF and the fact that the address has "Canadian Contingent" on it was enough to have them siezed by US customs.

Never used a Pmag, huh - the difference is absolutely shocking - the best designed magazines I've seen for any firearm, in more than 35 years of shooting anything I could get my hands on.

I've got 'em.....I just don't have any 30/30 rounders. They are good, but I can work with issue kit in the field.
