PMAG's are miles ahead of the old Thermold pieces of crap that used to be issued to the troops. They're worth your money, although USGI mags are fine as well.
Worth it for sure, they are bulletproof (no pun intended), and now that the price has come down you can pick them up for the same price or even cheaper then other AR mags. The fact that they look cool is a bonus.
