PMags

I think Dlask just mentioned getting in a Magpul shipment, they might have a few lying around.

Also, it is legal to buy magazines from the states as long as they conform to Canadian magazine capacity laws by the time they enter the country. Finding them for sale shouldn't be a problem, getting the seller to pin and export them might prove a bigger issue.

It might not surprise me if entire buckets of them start appearing on the market on December 22nd.

Is OST out of PMAGS? Whoops, just checked, yup, sold out online.

Check Target Sports. You'll have to call 'cause they don't reply to emails or PMs.

Hey there.

YES you can buy them yourself down south and bring them home..... however they need to be pinned to 5 rounds prior to attending the boarder.

You can try but if you get caught at the US border with them, good luck. These are USofA ITAR controlled items. No probs with the Canadian customs provided they are pinned... the US boys you got to watch out for.

It really makes me wonder how many people slip through the border with items like this, not knowing the potential world of hurt you'd be in on the US side. If you own guns you should know the laws of our country and the laws that control the US, where most of our gun goodies come from.

Questar seems to have them when I browse the site. (Been a while). And no, you can't have any out of my hoarding bucket.
Good luck on your mag quest.

I did call our CFO with regards to this matter and can't confirm anything ( they think it's ok). I got transfered to CAQA in Ottawa and they said that there's no issue with buying unpinned mag as long as it will be pinned once it arrived here...

Give it a whirl. What's the worst that could happen, one prohib weapon charge for each mag? Shouldn't be a big deal.

You spoke to the wrong people or didn't ask the right question.

It needs to be pinned BEFORE arriving on Canadian soil.. You'll get charged otherwise, same thing happened to a Toronto cop few years back..

Prohibited Weapon and Prohibited Device are two different things....the unpinned magazine would be considered the latter. The worst that would happen is that his magazines would be confiscated my customs and destroyed. All that being said I'm not condoning the practice of trying to illegally import prohibited devices. That, we can both agree, is bad news.
