PMC 556 62 grain green tip just arrived

I simply do not understand the mindset of the buyers? I could literally buy 2K rounds of steal for that price? worried about barrel wear? Then buy a new barrel every 1K rounds with the money you saved! lol

Quick question. The PMC green tip is very popular. Is that because of the tip or because of the 62 grain?
We are looking at other brands to bring in in large quantities - would they be accepted if they are 62 grain?

For me it is the bullet weight. Would love to see anything heavier than 55gr at a price that isn't significantly more than bulk 55gr. Dare to dream...lol.

meanwhile in Ottawa,i'm trying to sell some of my military .62 grain non greentip for .65 and i'm called crazy,,guess i'll keep it..seems to appreciate more than gold,

Can only speak for myself, but I couldn't care less about the steel penetrator, I'm more interested in the 62 gr projectiles. They seem to shoot a little more accurately than the 55gr shorter ones out of both my AR and my SL-8. If you could bring in 62gr at a price comparable to 55gr I'd be all over them.

PMC green tip poor mans Federal xm855, USUALLY sells a couple dollars less a box and is usually plentiful. Shoots great and feeds excellent in my Ar's, dont care that its manufactured in S Korea.
