IRUNGUNS US Team

Hello,

I have reached out to the IRG team and due to some unclear answers, i will ask here of the IRG team.

What is the final cost to FOB Warehouse in Alberta? I understand the base cost is 4500USD, but on the original post on this thread it states shipping is flat 25USD to the CDN Warehouse, but in the answer via email from IRG.US it only states that cost is 25USD import fee + freight charges. But the response does not detail if the freight charges are from the US to CAN or from the CDN warehouse to my location.

Can you please advise? Thank you.

You probably end up paying the same amount vs buying them 1k at a time. Buying this much and not knowing how much is the final cost is gambling.

Exactly, and with no straight/clear answer, i don't want to be on the hook for extra ammo i don't need (wanted to do a group buy on this). Easier to pay an extra $100 per case (for shipping and markup) than gamble on what the final total cost is going to be and getting stuck with ammo that is higher than what CDN Retailers sell for.

The plus freight charge will be from Edmonton Alberta to the customer's location one pallet 300lbs.

How are you dealing with a pallet delivery to a residence. Carriers usually either reject the order or deliver to their warehouse/marshaling area and then you have to go pick it up. Sometimes they will deliver, but you are your own to unload it. The pick up could be quite a distance away as well.

I'm not particularly interested in 55gr. FMJ, IRG Team, but I bet there would be interest in bulk 5,000 to 10,000 rounds packages for 9mm 124gr training ammo, and bulk reloading components...
If that is something you guys see a market for. ;)

It's really no big deal. I've had machinery parts delivered to my house on a pallet.

1) The courier scheduled with me ahead of time to make sure I will be home.

2) The truck has an elevator lift platform at the back.

3) The driver uses a normal hand pump-truck to bring the pallet to the back of the truck, down the lift, and into my garage.

I realize that but not all trucks have that. And sometimes there is an extra charge for that service. Not all shippers will do residential freight

Its all doable but at what cost and level of hassle.

Why go through all that hassle when you can get it here for 63 cents per round shipped from another dealer? I have ordered many things from IRG and appreciate what they can get and sometimes have great deals but I don’t think this would be that great of a deal

Not sure folks on CGN can visualize 10k .223 rounds very well. A 1k box is like 7" tall, 6" wide and 18" long... 10K rounds isn't coming on a flat deck, it's probably not coming on a pallet either. Most likely it'll be a 3 or 4 part shipment of a few boxes taped to eachother. At best you might get the UPS guy busting out the dolly to bring it up to the porch for you.

Even 32,000 rounds will fit in the back of a Dodge Dakota. Don't ask... LOL!

What am I missing here isn't this like $6150 before foreign exchange fees, shipping, and tax? Probably $0.70 a round

Ignoring the fact that this is no cheaper then sale prices that happen all the time nowadays, are we in a bull market? Most people can barely afford groceries, who is dropping $6-7K in one go on 223?

some can for 2 reasons: they can afford it and they want to shoot ...now for grocery not everybody is made the same when it is related to food ...
