I got a Arisaka Type 38 carbine, so I picked up a box just so I can say I shot it. I'm pretty sure its going to blow the brass out though.

I think you will find it bulges the one side of the brass a bit.
2 of mine have.

But it is a plesent rifle to shoot

You should however cast the chamber (unless whoever you bought it from shot it)
Lots of these rifles were changed to more common ammo....

Exactly. Bought a firearm on boxing day and threw in a few boxes of 5.56. CFC cleared the firearm
last week but the order is sitting in processing while another firearm order made just a few days ago
with different ammo is already preparing to ship.

Nobody but GD makes ammo in Canada, so there is not much to expand.

Oh yea, once again, reloading supplies, in bulk, most of us will be getting deeper into reloading due to price increases,, I know you are looking into it, you will be our best bet for bulk buys,, IE, 20 plus pounds of powder and multiples of thousands of projectiles! I can see ordering 50-100 lb of powder and 5000+ in popular projectiles and primers to get nice bulk discounts!
