PMC X-TAC 5.56 62gr FMJ, 1000 rounds

The AE is more accurate in my gun, but the X-tac is noticably more powerful.

What are you shooting?

A Kel-tec su-16 with 1-9" twist. The X-tac threw its empties about 4ft farther.
says .223 on the barrel but Kel-tec says its a Wylde chamber. No signs of overpressure from 5.56 and I've loaded some pretty hot XM193 clone loads

if its a 1/9 it will shoot the 55gr better then the 62gr, but not allways

Funny thing is my rifle shoots best with Hornady 60gr JSP or Sierra 65gr BTSP.

I doesn't do terrible with the X-tac 5 shots in about 2" at 50yds with a reddot.
But it will put AE tactical 55gr into 1.5" and my handloads into an inch. Which is as good as I can see with a 3 moa dot covering the bullseye.
I'd like to try a scope on it for more load development, but it's definitely going back to a reddot as soon as I've got all that figured out.

G-Day, could we get some kind of guesstimate as when this ammo will be back in stock!
remenber the end is near....isnt it in december that the Maya....is it them....any way will not take a chance just in case and will stock up on this fine ammo.

Not a good idea to run these in your AR. The 55gr FMJ will run better.

There is a reason the price is low.

Let others buy them and get poor results.

Ummmmm.... No. It all depends on your barrel twist rate. For some, this stuff will work fantastic.
