Do you need to request access to be able to PM or something here? I've tried to send a couple PM's, but they don't show up in my sent items.

This is an option you must enable in the settings. They do not save automatically.

Go to the Control Panel and look in the settings for messaging. It's near the bottom.

Ah, okay, thanks. So they did send, it's just not saving them?

I did the same thing, then went over the options and there it was.

How about post counts. I just signed up yesterday and have posted 3 times and it says im at 0 posts. does it take 24 hrs or something?

Posts are judged on quality ant points are awarded accordingly.

Only certain forums contribute to your post count. The Off topics, exchange forums, introduction forums, FAQ's etc don't increase your post count. It is a system setting.
