Hi, I'm trying to downsize my library and have a few books on Gunsmithing and Reloading etc. One of them is the above noted book. It is a soft cover with a durable cover and in excellent condition. I can't find any reference to it. Does anyone have any idea of it's value?

Does your book state on the cover, Volume One, or Volume Two?
Those are the only two Ackley books I am familiar with.
In general, any type of shooting book, such as those, are not really sought after and when they sell at gun shows the price may be about half of what the original price stamped on the book, is.
It seems to me that any of this type of book is old school and of interest only to old school type readers, while younger, or newer shooters, just don't seem to have interest in them.
This is really a shame, because there is a wealth of information in them and so much could be learned by young, or newer shooters.

Bruce, This is not either of those manuals. I have used those manuals but I believe this one precedes them both. It was published in 74 and is a spiral bound book. It is interesting reading and quite a departure from newer manuals.
Thanks for the reply. I have found it on Amazon. com. I previously mistakenly looked at Amazon.ca.
