POF P-415 Gas Piston Rifles

Questar is looking at importing a shipment of the POF (Patriot Ordnance Factory) P-415 Rifles with their Gas Piston System.

Just wondering if there is any interest in these and which options.

Before everyone goes nuts asking for short barrels, State Department is not going to allow barrel lengths under 16" so don't even go there.

Let me know what you think so we can make a decision on how many to bring in... or not... depending on what the feedback is.

We'll be selling them... when (and if) they produce and release them. There is no release date or even a final commitment to produce the item.

I would rather take a LWRC over the POF stuff....haven't read any good report on POF when used in courses with high round counts.

Why would he lie and make his sponsor bring in a product that wont sell and will force them to lose money in overhead costs and storage?

Marks question was if there was interest, his answer was no.

If they wern't selling they could not afford the full page SAR add every month

Two different systems XCR designed into the rifle, POF system modified design to fit into the existing AR platform. After handling and shooting the Leitner Wise Rifle I am impressed ,it is a excellent system simplistic although not user adjustable it IMO a very user friendly system

One phrase: "I hate cleaning". Piston systems are faster and easier to clean and you have to do it less often - depending on the system, a lot less.

Ok, since you've shot the LWRC rifles, allow me to ask why is that an excellent system while POF in your opinion is garbage?

Realistically, the POF system is just a hyper expensive AR and I imagine demand up here wouldn't be that great.
