Poi change with magnification

Doesn't have adjustable parallax . It's set at 50 yards parallax free I believe . Kelly Timoffee what do you mean by zero or point of impact ? I shot 3 shots at at a circle on my target on 9x and another 3 with 3x zoom . 3x always shoots lower . Didn't change my rest or where I was resting the gun either .

how much lower are we talking and were you shooting at 50 yards

Actually I wouldn' say it's normal, but it's fairly common in low end scopes. Most people just don't ever have a rifle or ammo that's accurate enough to notice it.

This isn't the only problem with low end scopes changing POI with such changes. Some of them will also change POI with parallax and focus adjustments. It seems that many low end scopes are built to be set permanently at a fixed range, say 25 meters or 100 meters etc. I suspect this is done for match shooters. I could be wrong and it just may be sloppy set up. Sad because in many cases the scopes are very sharp and clear at any range.
