Has anyone contacted them on the price of a Gock 17? They say price depends on wear & tear.

It was probably about 3 monthes ago when I talked with Jo and they were 2nd generation @ $695...($779.10 to your door for that SPI guy). Not part of the Glock Flock but I didn't think that was a screamin' deal.

did your PD by any chance use cheapo aftermarket magazines?

my 92FS has a little more than 2500 rounds through it with exactly 0 maulfanctions...

All our mags were Beretta factory mags. We did experience some early mag issues with some 10 rounders around 1994, it was dealt with by swapping out the springs which seemed to solve that problem. The 92 series pistols have a much better reputation than the 96's (D or otherwise). I would have gladly taken a 92 after the problems we experienced with the 96.
