Point Count

I have only been hunting about 10 years but the meat i prefer is whitetail. Tastes better IMO than mulie.

As for the point count debate. A 4x4 mulie is called LEGAL. :D

Yep I am only 64 yrs.old but hope to add to that.Lots of times when I was younger and had kids to feed it was legal to shoot three Deer.By the way it is over 50 Deer but I cant say exactly how many.I guess that if you get a limited entry you can still shoot three around here.Dont need that much meat nowI eat what I shoot.I dont believe in not eating what I shoot or giving it away so when I have my meat for the year I quit. That
is why I only hunt Deer now.End of story.

Is that why so many of you Easterners cant wait to get to B.C.or Alberta where we have real game to shoot like Bisghorns,Goats,a good supply of Elk and everything
that you have back east except not near as much BULL#### or BULL####TERS
out here.Have lived in Hog town and Trenton. Also was born in N.S. and traveled
pretty well all of Canada.B.C.all the way.We also have things here called Grizzlies
here that would make a lot of you Easterners #### your pants.
Yup and thats we have to post our kill numbers on the internet to sound like we are legends in our own minds

If he was in Ont that 50 deer would be called 100!
more like 150
Yep I am only 64 yrs.old but hope to add to that
Old enough to know that bragging doesn't impress people... only gives them excuses to disregard you.
You have only shot 50 deer in your lifetime? Another Noobie eh.
a lifetime in the Okanogan and only 50 deer... must be eating too many of those mountian mushrooms

I'm not sure where the Eastern -Western thing started , but know many Eastern fellas who say "4X4" or "5X3", when talking about antlers.
In our regulations , some of our areas have a minimum 3 point, or six poit rule(for elk).
That means , however, that the animal has to have only that minimum on one side , and can have less tines on the other.
This , however , has nothing to do ( as far as I am concerned) about the true
description of the animal.
I always call it as it is - 5x4, 4x4, etc.

On a lighter note, thread has mprphed into yet another entertaining
read!
