Polar Bear Cartridge

Ah WL, it is in a total state of disarray right now with animals all over the floor and crap everywhere. I'm just in the process of packing them all up to move them south to my other residence where my new trophy room is now finished and ready for "the boys". But thanks regardless. It once was a nice trophy room but has been out grown for about 15 years now. My new one is 32 X 48 with a 22 foot open ceiling, should be enough room to last out my hunting days now.

go big or go home Doug lol .... that will make a nice little museum ... next step starting to write your hunting stories for the book.

One mistake I made was "mouth closed" when it should have been "open slack"

Yes, it would look better that way.

Perhaps you could get another new caliber on the go next year, a big bore for dangerous game and harvest another bear. Then shoot a seal with a Penguin and mount the seal in the bears mouth. What a mount that would be with animals taken by two calibers from you.

After that, he could go for a white-tail being taken down by a lion, then a cougar with an eland and an ocelot with a dik-dik...

I think you misunderstand HuntNL.......what he said was to shoot a SEAL with the PENGUIN (meaning my 234 Penguin cartridge I designed and am building) and have the polar bear mounted with the SEAL in his mouth, which, of course, is geographically and predator/prey correct.

HuntNL.......... ahead of you, already designed the 458-416 Ruger 40 deg imp, have the 700 Rem 458 donor rifle to build it on, have new action wrench, have brass, bullets and reamers...........all I need now is time !!!
