Police Ordanance

I bought a new in box Glock model 22, they outfitted it with the typical duty gear, heavier trigger and trijicon night sights. Also showed me how to replace the trigger if I wanted to go with a lighter one for plinking/competition shooting. They also reclassified it for personal use. They were VERY quick with the transfers and very professional.

My other experience recently, wasn't so great, they charged me shipping x4 on some magazines that turned out to be the wrong ones, were slow at responding to my complaint about receiving the wrong magazines and slow about shipping the proper ones.

Didn't offer to do anything for the extra shipping I had to pay back to them and had no comment on the ridiculous price they charged me originally for shipping.

I recommend using a local dealer, or a CGN sponsor.

Tim.

They give a discount, to Police, Military, Fire, and EMS as well. G17's with Trijicon Night Sights right now are $566 plus taxes and shipping. They only ship via UPS so shipping will be costly.

I've taken advantage of the Glock LE discount... 3 times :)
Bought my AA .22 Glock conversion kit from them as well...
No problems.

Don't forget CanadaAmmo. $599 for their Glocks, only 5% tax since they are out west, and FREE shipping. They are also a sponsor of CGN. I had excellent service from Mark when I bought my Glock. The ones he has in stock are VERY recent manufacture too. Can't beat the deal.

I almost bought a Glock 17 from them 2 years ago, but my experience was much less positive.

A good friend of mine bought a Glock and was telling me how their service was great, they had a military discount, free tritium sight upgrade, etc, etc. So when I was in the area one weekend we did the "circuit," Accuracy Plus, Williams Arms, Lebaron's, & Gagnon Sports. After Lebaron's, we swung by Police Ordnance & I talked to the guys there. I wasn't impressed, the "discounted" price of their glocks was no different than the price of the same pistol at Williams Arms. I was least impressed with the attitude of the guy we were talking to, but I can't remember his name. I asked him about a nightforce scope, and he promised he'd get me a price if I left my phone # & email. So I did & never heard back from him.

I would check again to see what their prices are on certain items, but I don't think that they have anything you can (legally) get that Wolverine Supplies doesn't have anyways. I've always been treated great by Ryan at Wolverine, and that's worth a few $$$s to me anyways.

My $.02,

Cheers

Tim

I've had the pleasure of calling Brian a friend for almost 20 years now, and have dealt with his company for much of those years.

Police Ordnance is not now and never has been the type of store front operation many here seem to be expecting. There business is rather specialized, and the staff accordingly work to a different set of needs.

When it comes to selling the occational quantities of Canadian legal police trade in guns, please keep in mind it would actually be simple for him to broker them in the US, where most of the 12(6) guns already wind up.

Got my G17 from Joe and had a great service. I wanted a ''real'' and new G17 with all the austrian markings and he managed to find me one in his inventory.

Couldn't ask for more :)

I've delt with Jo recently for Glock accessories and this time I e-mailed him regarding a new G17. Unfortunately, I'm just a civilian/general public and he can't sell me a new Glock but used/demo ones are not a problem... and he doesn't have one of those in stock right now either.
