Police Surplus Jericho Pistols

Good day,

Has anyone bought one of the grade 1 surplus Jericho pistols that are currently for sale at Tenda and SFRC? Just wondering on the overall condition? There’s been one sitting in my cart all day.
 
Having bought a surplus 92S from Tenda in the past, I wouldn't pull the trigger with an online sale unless I see pictures of the actual firearm itself.
 
I bought one of the hard chromed ones early from Tenda. Internals re in great shape, external a little beat from daily holster carry. Kinda EXACTLY what I expected; EDC is tough on finishes.
 
The only problem I see with them, with out seeing them, is the price . About 3-4 years ago I bought new 941S with a range kit, 3 mags and retail was 600.oo +tax

Some people might find the surplus guns more interesting and unique, prices from 3-4 years ago on a similar but different model are not that relevant to the current prices on these surplus guns.

The current picture on Tenda's site looks like a different gun then the previous surplus models... looks like it shows a slide mounted safety?
 
A friend of mine bought one from Tenda and the rear sight was crushed making it completely unusable. When he contacted Tenda about it they told him the “dozen or so other ones were worse“ and he should “fix it with gun blue”. They’re surplus so they might have issues like that so I would get one from SFRC because they at least have decent customer service.
 
service wear is expected and yes sights lume are dead and some even crashed.
however it's very good shooting with SAO trigger, beats my friend's shadow sp01 in duel.
that is the frame safety SAO ones from last batch, don't know how the slide safety ones feel.
I suggest go in the shop and take the pick yourself, conditions maybe extremely good or beat to ####.

I have a Jericho .40 I bought new with the slide safety/decocker. I like it, and it gives me more to grab when racking the slide. Single and double action trigger is great. I think the price on these surplus pistols is a bit high.
 
I've seen some surplus IWI Jericho pistols with unique dovetails and plastic rear sights in various states of damage. I would see if you can get pictures of the actual firearm you're going to purchase.
 
S&J also has them, so does Durham, for $500 with hard chrome and frame safety in SAO I think they are a good deal.
 
ours we have are hand selected and and true grade one, no damage to them all, 90% original finish with a few marks on the chrome, sights are perfect.
all guns are cleaned and test fired by us before listed
each gun come with a new 10rd factory magazine
