[Policy Change] Fraud and things that may delay your orders

2015 was a pretty bad year for fraudulent orders and people using stolen credit cards.

Starting today orders may be held for several days IF certain criteria are triggered by our fraud prevention software

  • Shipping address is different from billing address
  • Orders are placed with a computer with a web proxy
  • Orders are placed from out of country but shipping to Canada
  • Orders with credit cards issued outside of Canada

This even include orders that are upgraded to XpressPost and Priority

I can see EVERY vendor adopting these rules. When the store gets burned by the CC, there isn't much choice...

I've had only excellent dealings with you guys. Hope you weren't on the hook for the fraudulent charges.
