It's good ammo, but a test done by member Ganderite showed it to be the most inaccurate of the available surplus. Ironically the Chinese surplus is the most accurate.

It is corrosive so clean your gun accordingly. Should always go bang when you pull the trigger.

Any results?

Was about to order a case, saw the review by Ganderite, now thinking twice as I do more target shooting than plinking. Shot 100 rnds of LCW HP last week, grouping good at 50m, still working on 100m (need to bring back rest).

Was hoping the surplus are decent accurate. Will wait for the NORC if they are better than Polish or Bulgarian (both $225 case).
i finally found his thread here: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/776009-Range-Report-8-different-7-62x39
it maybe is just me, but i find it strange that the polish pattern like horizontal strings. its either really bad or something is wrong here. he only got one picture of a polish target too.

ill tell you after i shot some at 600feet, i know my Chinese silver box can keep all holes in a 8x12 paper.

If all you're doing is blasting tin cans and paper silhouettes any of the surplus fare is "good enough" to get the job done, given that most of the firearms it's going through aren't usually discussed in the Precision section anyways. I would opine it's better to stock up on what's available now while it is still only $225/crate.

Know what the difference is between ammunition and gold? Gold sometimes goes down in price.

Going through a XCR, def. not precision rifle but decent at 100m.

Will pick up a case for those non-lazy days and when the rifle needs cleaning anyway.

Anyone compared the Polish (1400 rnds) vs. Bulgarian (1320 rnds), both $225/case?
