I think the shooting rest is quite nice too!

I recall someone selling one like that recently on the EE (maybe last fall) for something around $300. Not sure if he got that amount but it went resonably quick.

Can Am Enterprizes sold them for $135, in the late 80's. Un used in the grease. I gave 2 away as gifts at a wedding, back then.
I'm such a nice guy.

I recently received a polish m44 from my uncle. havent had it out to the range yet, but im told it kicks quite hard, as my father owned it before my uncle. stock is a darker colour than hnachaj's. numbers match, bore is beautiful, a very great first rifle. I was surprised at the condition of the bolt after my dad told me he regularly shot corrosive ammo through it. the polish nagants are supposed to be the cream of the crop according to my research.

bought 2 back when SIR had a sale on refurbs, both had mismatched bolts but at $45 each I thought that it was a good deal.

got 1 at gun show last fall new unfired $160 . i had 2 others . sold that 1 to friend for$160 . sold 1 of mine for $250 to guy on cgn . keeping last 1 . still not shot . lots of them out there . catch is most of them not near that nice
