Ever since my Polish Tok arrived from Kelly's, I've been trying to track down the correct holster to complete it. As many of you already know, there are plenty of Russian,Yugoslavian and Chinese holsters available online ranging in price from$20-$40,but the Polish version seem to be a little scarce. Yeah, I know...whats the diff?...they're all basically the same and they all fit Tokarev's. I told myself the same thing, but still felt my mint Polish Tok needed its correct holster if nothing else than to give me a mission. I found an unissued black Polish marked holster from an ebay seller in the U.S,and figured it would suit my Tok perfectly,so I tossed in a high bid of $51 along with the other 7 bids that were already made and forgot about it. Last night I expanded my search and found an unissued dark brown Polish holster from a seller in Poland...this holster was perfect, not only was it Polish marked, but it also had the circled "11" Radom stamp under the flap to match the stamp on my pistol. This holster also came complete with its cleaning rod AND an unissued magazine in the pouch. The seller had a "buy it now" price of $60 so I pulled the trigger on it and now have a great holster on the way from Mother Poland. In the meantime, the auction ended on the black holster from the U.S seller, and apparently I own that one too! Seems like a lot to spend on Tokarev holsters seeing there are so many floating around...but they're Polish Tok correct, which on one hand means everything, but on the other hand means I just overpaid for a holster.....friggin gun habit!...I need an intervention...
