You know I could easily machine up some more for you free of charge. I am thinking brass would be a better material for the inserts though.

I was the first to view the thread for the sale and bought one immidiately after. Hopefully I was one of the first!!

I have a Sportowy for years now and they are nice to shoot....Just have someone watch the inserts as you are shooting....see where they land etc....After having said that....I ordered another two ...

I have to price out the material but I can not see it costing much. Even if you were to manufacture them on a manual lathe you can grind custom tooling to make multiple contours at once. Ideally hundreds of these spun off on a CNC lathe would be the way to go and not take long at all.

Aluminum would be lighter then brass but if anyone does. Run of these I would also be very interested I've been racking my brain weather I can do it with only hand tools lol

I dont think weight would be an issue and using brass would make the inserts more durable. Adding the extra weight of brass may possibly cause extraction issues but worth a try. Aluminum inserts would be extremely easy to make as it machines beautifuly and costs very little.
 
Hmmm, processing, thats a good thing, moving along nicely!! Still can't believe I got a polish t33/.22 for $100. A semi auto .22 pistol for $100. Wicked good deal!!
 
Neat for a collection, looks like a horrible pain in the ass to shoot. I hated a single action .22 I had as well....too slow to load and unload, accuracy wasn't there to make the slow shooting rewarding. I'd be losing inserts left right and center and not having fun lol
 
Yea, I think most of us that bought them, know exactly what they are or are not but bought for that exact reason. 100 bucks for one of these is nothing i have a few x25 and love them.Strange why they went to the trouble of designing a new barrel to take a x25 insert and a new slide/ offset firing mechanism/ trigger etc. but stopped short of just making it a straight .22 barrel and gear up a mag for it!! Again that is why I bought mine, would not have for $300! If we can get some more inserts made up for a reasonable price it will be fun to shoot!
 
Pure impulse buy - $99 says it all. Much like $99 M213's, $199 SVT-40's, Norinco 1911 ammo combos, etc. Buy it, play with it and sell it at no loss once I tire of it.
