My secret polishing compound at Crappy Tire

I found some great stuff that I orginally tried for the clear cloat on my car. The stuff is called PEEK it is in a silver tube and is in the houswares section ie cleaners and other household potions.

This stuff polishes, clear coat scratches, tile, fiberglass and any type of metal. It is amazing!!!

Look for the buffing wheels in the hardware section I believe, it will be in that area.

Problem with general hardware sections like at CT is that the buffs are small handyman style, and the polishing compaound tends to be in small handyman assortments. If you are seriously setting up to do metal finishing, you will want larger buffs, and bars of polishing compounds.

Whats the use, I have had excellent results with the white, and red in block, also the sheets.

I'm a small handyman type with small handyman needs, So I use this stuff called AutoSol from Lordco Automotive. Works well to smooth out surfaces in the Glocks, the Rem700, and the Ar.

Lee Valley is another choice. Canajun and good compound.

I buy mine in big fat sticks from Ken's Gems here in Calgary.

Fabulustre is a great all purpose compound.
