sigh... perhaps you also need to check your facts. Westicle is right. The P90 would not be illegal because the gun cannot fire without the bullpup stock.

Wrong. Bullpup _stocks_ are illegal. Bullpup guns, as long as the gun can't be made to fire without the stock, are legal.

I'll let someone else quote the part of the legislation that applies.

a 10/22 with a REPLACMENT STOCK... again it does not make the 10/22 prohibited... technically the stock itself is the prohib item because it is aftermarket.

if a gun is designed and made to be in a bullpup stock and cannot be fired when removed from such a stock then it is legal.....

so once again, bullpup firearms are NOT illegal in canada... only aftermarket stocks...... and the current screw up with the walther rifle

P90s are theoretically legal.........
Now.........the ammo is an interesting discussion we have had before.
 
Has anyone actually attempted to IMPORT the civvy non-AP ammunition?

This also begs the question... Only pistol AP ammunition is prohibited. The cartridge was designed for this specific firearm. Is it a pistol, and therefore allowed 10 round magazines, or a rifle, and therefore even the AP ammunition is legal?
