POLL: Did you have to adjust the iron sights of your CZ858?

Thanks guys. This poll was for the CZ 858, not the VZ 58 as I don't know whether the VZ 58 came with a test target.

Poll results so far:
Yes (elevation only): 4 = 15.4%
Yes (both elevation and windage, some responses I couldn't tell if it was just one or both, so lumped them in here): 8 = 30.8%
No: 14 = 53.8%

I have a feeling though that many CSA rifles are lumped in there. Did CSA rifles come with a test target?

My CSA didn't come with a test target. It shoots fair for me, however I haven't tried it on paper targets yet. I know it can hit beer cans at 50 yards spot on.

Never even noticed. Changed all three to front fibers and rear peeps.
Even with the changes, zeroed within a group or two still.

No. My 858 was hitting water bottles and cans from 50-100 meters right out of the box with crappy Polish surplus from the 80's. I printed it on paper after having no issues hitting reactive targets I brought to the range and it was spot on as well. Good little rifles.

The only milsurp red rife I've had to adjust the front post on was my M59/66 SKS, which was an absolute ##### as the grenade sights can get in the way and my crappy Chinese front sight tool doesn't really fit to adjust it for elevation. It still shoots a little high.

I had to crank the windage all the way to the left and it is still off. Trying to find a rear peep sight as, from what I understand, it is the only way to solve this.

It also will depend on the ammo that you are using too. As different ammo and different batches will cause a shift of the P.O.I./P.O.A.
Meaning with some Czech corrosive I have to aim in between the front blades and the center of the front post at 100 meters but with the Chinese non-corrosive it is bang on. This was tested on the same day with the same rifle shooting at the same target at the same spot.
Now this same Chinese ammo also seems to be quite week ejecting out of my rifle compared to the Czech ammo witch usually gets tossed 5 feet up and 8 feet to the right of me.
