I usually wear a pair of Hatch....uhm...thin......gloves...lol. I have a pair of Uncle Mikes padded gloves as well, but I find I mostly wear them for extra grip. And it's a 5" 460.

But I also wear the Hatch gloves for my carry rifles and shotguns, because I wear gloves in the bush all the time and need the dexterity training...lol. :)
 
I have nothing against anyone wearing gloves to shoot the big loads but I haven't yet. The 454's from the 460v are pretty soft though.
