My second M14 is fine, I would rather they would tell you what you are getting upfront. On ny VZ58, I sold it for what I paid for it after a week, win-win. I have never kept the first rifle Marstar sent me, but they are true to their return policy.

I'm not too sure if this is the right place to post this but if we are discussing the service we have received from Marstar, here's my last dealing.

Before Christmas when Martin brought out his ban handguns idea I sold my wife on the idea it was time myself and our son got a couple of handguns.

Checking around I noticed Marstar had Norinco 1911A's on for $399.99 which seemed like a pretty good deal.

I emailed Marstar stating that I was interested in buying a couple of 1911's and basically told them the same story as I just told you.

They didn't even bother answering me, I gave them email and 2 phone numbers and a fax number.

So we bought a couple of CZ 75's off of Reliable here in Vancouver. Which upon reflection is the right thing to do as Ontario votes Liberal and we really shouldn't have any thing to do with them.

Everyone in ON voted Liberal? Umm.... I was unaware of that, but ok....lol

If I'm not mistaken the MP for my city is conservative, which would mean not everyone voted liberal.

I somehow doubt that any gun store owners in their right minds would vote liberal, so I don't see why one would refuse to support Ontario firearms dealers.....

So yes, do not associate with us Ontario residents, we are just bad news and are ruining the country....

Not only is that factually wrong, its just ignorant. The CPC was shut out of the GTA (as they were in Vancouver too....guess we should boycott LeverArms and Reliable as well? ) The rest of the province went Tory blue; with the odd orange socialist thrown in.

CanukShooter, you're missing a poll option for, "encrusted in cosmoline!":p

My rear sight aperture was also drilled by "The Drunken Master", it works just fine; but looks a little funny. When my rifle arrived the safety was very stiff, the only functional problem.
The only "defect" you should expect is the gobs of stinky grease. Have plenty of rags on hand and be prepared to COMPLETELY disassemble and clean your rifle before taking it to the range. Especially make sure that the firing pin moves very freely, mine was packed. My gas system was also heavily greased

I would have to second that! I found a metal chip sitting beside the feedramps and a drop of oil containing metal grit on the trigger group. A complete cleaning will serve you well before firing.

Other than that, there was nothing wrong with my rifle from Marstar.

Ontario has foisted Liberal governments upon us time after time. Hell I'm still mad about Trudeau, it'll take me awhile to get over the other #######s.

Ya did a little better this time but your still on probation. Your right about one thing though Ontario has done a great job uniting the country. The way I see it Ontario has a lot to answer for, just look at the previous 3 governments, so buck up.

Mind you if you wanted to fight fire with fire you could remind me of Hedy.

The way I saw the map was that Vancouver central ( the downtown area where all the offices are ) went Liberal. After work hours the place is only inhabited by bums, ###s and the new age hippy. All the regular people went home to the surrounding suburbs which voted Conservative. Hogtown on the other hand both urban and suburban voted Liberal.

I see you are a little sensitive, that is good. Realization and shame are the first steps to recovery, must of voted Liberal before, eh.

Psst, here's a little secret. Don't take the internet too seriously, there are some a**holes out there just trying to get your goat. Where did you put that goat by the way.

like my signature says,i live in the left coast, home of latte drinking granola eaters, but i sure as hell didn't vote liberal.I honestly don't know what is wrong with vancouver or toronto, but there are alot of people out here just shaking their heads at the results. back to the post,i just indexed my m305 barrel yesturday and can't wait to zero it back in,I would expect to have to do a little tuning on a chineese rifle like this but,i'm sure impressed with it none the less.this rifle is worth keeping and upgrading if desired.
