POLL - Which one would you choose?

I had one built instead.

That is near perfect, Paul... that will be an extreme pleasure to carry in the woods.

From the OP's list, it would be the Rigby Highland for me.

It would be more popular in some camps if offered in the Creedmoor or PRC... that would be ridiculous of course.

I'd have to have the Rigby. Only because it's been crafted in my home country though. There's a lot to be said for supporting local businesses wherever you're able. Any of those choices would be a good one. I'd probably take the Blaser last.

Without looking them up on Google, except for the Mauser 98 Standard I don't even know what those others are.

I've only been a firearm owner for the last 53 years though, so what do I know?

Just not that much of a gun nerd I guess.

I did however sit in a blind in Germany holding a Blaser over under 308/12 gauge on one occasion.

Be damned if I know the model number though.

Would have no issue with a Dakota 10, might look at a Heym vs the Rigby Highland. I have a Merkel K1, so, no need for the Blaser. My preference overall would be a Hagn action and build on it, or a CPA Stevens 44-1/2. Southernman's thought on the FAIR Iside Vintage hammergun, in a 6.5 or 7x57R would be a cool one too, I have one in 20ga, adding barrels would be fine by me.

Yup, not on the OP's list, but I posted that because this all started for me with a lust for a Rigby but realized I could have a full route custom (arguably nicer) rifle for less than the cost of a factory 275.

LOL ...... I see what you did there. :)

I too would pick one of the Dakota's (but mostly because I am a lefty and they have more options).
While Blaser makes many fine chamberings in left hand, they do not offer the cartridges that I am after at this time.
Also, Dakota in one of the few companies out there that offer rifles in a French Gray finish, which is something that I am interested in. Looks great in a nice piece of \French or New Zealand walnut.

You have many fine rifles on your list, that many hunters and riflemen would be happy to own.
Ultimately, it will be your rifle and the rifle that fits you best while offering you all the options on your priority list should determine which make and model you choose.
